About The Brand

Tsaoao Design is a paper crafts studio aspiring to reintegrate traditional crafts into the digital age. Founder Nick Tsao is a practicing architect in Hong Kong living in the historic Wanchai Bluehouse where he can share his passion for traditional crafts. 

Tsaoao Design 係一家立志以數碼技術宏揚傳統手工藝嘅紙藝工作室。創辦人曹晉愷喺香港從事建築設計工作，現居於一級歷史建築灣仔藍屋，並以此為剪紙工作室，研究傳統紙藝創作。

Nick is a graduate of Cambridge University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award in 2015 and 2016. The Zodiac papercutting series also received a DFA Design For Asia Merit Award in 2023.

曹晉愷畢業於劍橋大學(學士)及香港中文大學(碩士)，曹於2015及2016年獲頒DFA香港青年設計才俊獎。新年剪紙系列在2023年亦獲得DFA亞洲最具影響力設計獎的優異獎。
